Geboren am 1. September 1930 im indischen Bundesstaat Andhra Pradesh. Studium am Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) und an der University of Michigan. 
Correa war Professor an der Harvard University und am MIT in Boston. Er wurde u.a. 1998 mit dem Aga Khan Award for Architecture und 1994 mit dem Praemium Imperiale for Architecture ausgezeichnet.
